AbuseIPDB alternative โ abuse reports are one lens, not the whole picture
AbuseIPDB is a community-driven IP abuse database: users report IPs that launch attacks, scans, or spam, and it gives you an "abuse confidence" score and report history. For checking whether an IP has recently done something bad, it's useful โ in fact IPOK uses AbuseIPDB as one of its aggregated sources.
But report history is only one side of purity. An IP that's "not reported" isn't necessarily clean: it could be a freshly-leased datacenter IP that hasn't been reported yet, or a proxy exit โ both still high-risk at signup / in risk pipelines, yet not necessarily present in abuse reports.
IPOK (ipok.io) is free and no-signup, showing AbuseIPDB's abuse confidence next to 7 other sources (ip-api, ipapi.is, proxycheck, Scamalytics, StopForumSpam, IPQS + the in-house IPOK-DB), plus native/datacenter classification and a /24 neighbor profile. You see not just "was it reported" but "is it a datacenter/proxy, is it native, is its range bad" โ and no API key, right on the page.
