Email Records Lookup (MX / SPF / DMARC)

Want to know if a domain's email setup is complete? This tool checks MX (who receives mail), SPF (which IPs may send for it) and DMARC (how forged mail is handled) at once — see what's missing or misconfigured at a glance. Queries go via Cloudflare DoH, entirely in your browser.

SPF / DMARC are policy (who may send, what to do with forgeries) — the baseline. But whether mail lands in the inbox or spam comes down to whether the sending server IP is clean: datacenter or not, on a spam blacklist (DNSBL), its reputation. Good policy won't save a dirty IP. So after the records, check the sending IP's purity.

FAQ

What happens without SPF / DMARC?

Without SPF, receivers can't verify which IPs may send for you, so mail is more easily bounced or marked spam; without DMARC, your domain is easier to spoof (phishing) with no policy for failed checks. Both improve deliverability and anti-forgery, but neither guarantees the inbox.

Why does mail still go to spam with SPF / DMARC set?

Deliverability also depends on the sending IP's reputation: a datacenter IP, one on a DNSBL, or an abused neighbouring range still gets bounced or spam-filed. Check whether the sending IP is blacklisted on this site.

Is the domain I look up uploaded?

No. Queries are made via Cloudflare DoH from your browser; they don't go through our server.
