WHOIS Domain Lookup

Want to know who registered a domain, when it expires, what status locks it carries, and which DNS it uses? This tool queries RDAP (the structured next-gen WHOIS) live and returns the registrar, registration / expiry / last-update dates, EPP status codes and nameservers.

Registration data is just step one: what often decides whether a domain is trustworthy is whether the server IP it resolves to is clean — datacenter or not, flagged as proxy, on a spam blacklist. That's what determines if its mail lands and whether platforms flag it. So after WHOIS, check the purity of its resolving IP.

Queried via RDAP (the structured next-gen WHOIS) through our Worker, not stored. The registrar and nameservers are just step one — whether the server IP this domain resolves to is datacenter / flagged-proxy / on a spam list is what decides if its mail lands and whether it trips risk controls.

FAQ

What's the difference between WHOIS and RDAP?

RDAP is the modern replacement for WHOIS: it returns structured JSON (not free text) with consistent, machine-readable fields. This tool uses RDAP, so results are cleaner.

Why can't some domains be found?

It may be unregistered; or the TLD has no public RDAP (e.g. some country-code domains like .cn). The tool tells you 'not found' vs 'TLD unsupported' separately.

Can I see the registrant's real details?

Most .com domains redact the registrant for privacy / GDPR, so you'll see the registrar but not the individual registrant — that's normal.
